Revis joins the darkside

Updated: March 16, 2014

NORTH CAROLINA-(BASN)-After former New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib signed a six-year, $59 million deal with the Denver Broncos, Darrelle Revis joined the dark side by joining forces with the evil EMPEROR, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.

Yes, the former New York Jets cornerback, who once called Belichick a jerk, has signed a one-year, $12 million deal with the NE Patriots.

Revis, will, in fact, earn a base salary of $1.5 million in 2014, with A $10 million signing bonus and a $500,000 roster bonus.

Seeing Revis in a red, white and blue Patriots’ uniform, however, will be extremely difficult to see for many Jets’ fanatics, who feel he would play for Hitler if the money was right.

Matter of fact, several die-hard Gang Green fans  have considered suicide an option by jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge before seeing the best cornerback in the game adorn their enemies’ jersey. (Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl winning CB Richard Sherman probably would debate that)

Why? Because, many consider Revis’s latest act of joining the PATS as a form of treason.

Some, for instance, compare it to seeing Coach K wearing a Tar Heel jersey in a downtown Greensboro APPLEBEE’S during the ACC Tournament.

Now, that’s truly sickening.

As a result, his old # 24 jersey was recently burned just like Lebron James’ when he decided to “take his talents to South Beach.”

With that said, Jets fans can’t wait until the NFL releases the 2014 schedules, which usually is done in April, in order to prepare for Revis’s return to MetLife Stadium.
