400 people were forced to give up their seats for Green Bay's victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday night, and instead had to watch the game on monitors or use standing-room platforms in corners of Cowboys Stadium. Another 850 fans were moved from their seats in the temporary sections to other seats.

The Packers completed their mission with their 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night at Cowboys Stadium. It is the organization’s fourth Super Bowl title and 13th NFL Championship in their long history.

But to be truthful, most of us wanted to see Michael Vick in the Super Bowl instead of Ben Roethlisberger. Vick winning the Super Bowl this year would have made Black History Month worth celebrating.

The NCAA should also consider its own version of the Rooney rule given the dearth of black representation in the ranks of college football coaching.

And even though quarterback Drew Brees played an awesome game and was named the Super Bowl MVP, I feel that cornerback and native of Louisiana Tracy Porter deserves a “little” more credit for the Saints' 31-17 victory.
