Last Saturday afternoon The New York Rangers skated on the Madison Square Garden ice six hours earlier thinking the Washington Capitals would lay down giving them the President's Cup and a first round matchup with the same Washington Capitals.

This could be it for the San Jose Sharks if they do not play well in the playoffs. This is one of the most underachieving teams in the league. They still miss Devin Setoguchi and Dany Heatley with their 104pts.

It will be a very interesting ending to this season in the west with five teams vying for last three spots in the playoffs. In one night the leader of the Pacific Division could end-up in 9th place with a lost, that's the way it's been in the west all season long.
