The track and field events started Tuesday, soccer opened on Wednesday and wheelchair events on Thursday.  Swimming will begin on the final closing day: Sunday, May 30th and Monday, May 31st.

These are the four teams playing for the cup: Great Britain, United States, Netherlands, and Romania

In basketball, there are men’s squad and women’s squads from these countries.

Unlike their non-disabled bretheren, the Cup includes four different sports: wheelchair basketball, football (soccer), track and field events, and swimming.

BASN will have the final results of athletes and teams next week. As a reminder, the non-disabled World Cup games are scheduled to start June 11-July 11 in Johannesburg, South Africa

NOTE: If you want to see these events you will have to have a computer or digital cable on www.Paralympicsport.tv.
