| The CAM-1 sneaker has a feature where the color of the logo is changed when the gold button is pressed. |
Mr. Rhodes-Vivour worked closely with footwear designers to incorporate his ideas into an innovative sneaker design. The result of this collaboration is Lambano's flagship shoe - the CAM-1.
What really separates this shoe from others in the market is its
color changing technology. The CAM-1 features a patented method for
changing the color of the logo from one color to another; the first
model of the CAM-1 changes from red to orange and back again.
The acronym CAM-1 stands for Chameleon-1, a fitting name for this revolutionary new shoe. "This color changing technology has been in the making for years. You have to see it to believe it," said Lambano's president and CEO, Temilade Rhodes-Vivour.
The company will start shipping the first round of orders on Friday, October 15th. With over 5,000 people joining Lambano's Facebook page in only three months, it looks like the shoe is going to be a hit.
The company's representative said that, "since pre-ordering
began on July 31, 2010, we have seen substantial interest for the CAM-1
and we expect to reach 12,000 orders by December of this year."
NOTE: The CAM-1 is only available online at Lambano's official website at www.lambano.com
