Please, give me a break. What about the other 11 months?
Do we take a vacation from doing great things?
I'm not going to get on Black Box's case for jumping on the "let's pick on hockey again" bandwagon, that's once again sweeping the USA because I've done it too many times to imagine as some of you know.
This time, no pun intended, Time Magazine is on the Princess of Puck's cacapoo list. Explain to me why everybody is looking for that next Tiger Woods in any kind of sport, but especially hockey.
News flash, people- the NHL and Commissioner Gary Butthead-er Bettman, aren't looking for the next Tiger, contrary to popular belief.
(Hell, true die hard hockey fans are STILL trying to figure out what Commissioner Bettman is looking for, because we all really don't have a clue!)
But I digress. When was the last time that you read a hockey article in Time Magazine? Or heard anything from these sociologists posing as sports experts?
When did any of them sit down and watch a hockey game?
No, really watch it and not worry about what skin color is wearing what uniform.
Why does color have to be an issue here in the USA, but really not in Canada?
Hockey doesn't need "another Tiger Woods".
They had them while Tiger was down here at Stanford hanging out with his Cali surfing buddies. And don't give me that economics thing. There are just as many piss poor Canadians as there are Americans.
Just face it. Until we get out of the mentality that there are only certain sports we're suppose to play, you won't see that many Black Americans playing hockey.
