7  YEARS LATER IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY PART I

By:- Gary Norris Gray-BASN- Staff Reporteruniv of ky

OAKLAND, CA. - There is a tsunami brewing in Lexington, Kentucky. Beware Wildcat fans!!!! Mr. Batchelor warned you seven years ago and Mr. Gray is warning you again in 2016. That shine on the 2012 National Basketball Championship Trophy might be fading away. That trophy could be taken away in the near future for alleged recruiting violations, paid trips, and professional agent contacts. Mr. John Calipari (HEAD COACH) could put an everlasting stain on the prestigious and historic University of Kentucky basketball program.

TMZ has learned the NCAA is taking an aggressive look at University of Kentucky basketball players — past and current — and their possible involvement with professional agents.

According to a source who was interviewed by an NCAA investigator, the agency is interested in at least four players — two current and two who were just drafted by NBA teams.

In the case of one former Wildcat, we’re told the NCAA wants to know about his relationship with his current agent. We’re told the investigator asked about multiple meetings the agent allegedly had with the player … dating back to the player’s senior year in high school.

The insinuation is the agent had an arrangement with the player before he went to Kentucky.

It is a violation of NCAA rules for a student athlete to receive anything of value from an agent — or to have any agreements, verbally or in writing, with an agent. Just ask USCReggie Bush or OJ Mayo.

Kentucky “declined comment” — and a rep for the NCAA tells us, “The NCAA does not comment on current, pending or potential investigations.”

Seven years ago BASN reporter L.A. Batchelor could not have stated it more clearly in his multiple articles on The Kentucky Wildcat basketball program, “The Devil and His Bride are finally together” and the follow-up piece “From Kentucky With Love”.

Seven years later The University of Kentucky Basketball program is still under the leadership of head coach John Calipari. Calipari cannot change his spots as the NCAA begins another investigation for the interactions of professional agents around the basketball program. There are NCAA rules to keep this from happening.

Mr. Batchelor stated seven years ago that the University of Kentucky would pay for the checkered history of Mr. Calipari. The history at Memphis State University and The University of Massachusetts are clear evidence of misdeeds. The Wildcats are going to be the next victim.

Last year Kentucky opened with a trip to the Bahamas in which the Wildcat boosters help defray the cost. This vacation smacks of elitism, power, and control.Big Blue money flowed like water in the Bahamas in the fall of 2015. Was it illegal ? maybe not. Was it immoral as Sarah Palin states many times, “You Betcha”.  POWER AND CONTROL AT IT’S BEST. The Wildcats played the National teams of Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, and the French pro club. Calipari stated that he wanted his team to play against tougher opponents so they can win the NCAA championship. This scheme almost worked.

. The Wildcats and the (SEC) South East Conference can dictate who they will play unlike small schools or (HBCU) Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  The University of Kentucky can and will continue to recruit African American youngsters that have no thought about education and no thought about graduation. This is a crime committed by the NCAA. Division one schools like the University of Kentucky are producing winning teams on the floor and not graduating student-athletes.

WHY  ARE THEY IN COLLEGE?

JUST WIN BABY!!!! and Big Blue has done just that, by going to the NCAA Semi Finals in 2015 losing to the Wisconsin Badgers 71-68 ending the year 38-1. All five starters left the University of Kentucky to enter the National Basketball Association.

The Wildcat 2015-16 record is 12-3 and the three losses have come from formidable basketball programs the (UCLA) University of California at Los Angeles, The Ohio State University, and (LSU) Louisiana State University. Rumors are beginning to fly that Mr. Slick-John Calipari is looking for another school to land before the NCAA police catch him.

Mr. Calipari stretches the rules as far as he can without getting caught. With corporate jets flying him all over the country to interview or observe future recruits’, with the blessing of the schools administration. It is ironic that last year was the 20th year anniversary of the Championship of the University of Massachusetts as the campus wanted to retire his number. REALLY? The Minutemen (Vacated) gave back all of their victories because of the Marcus Camby incident. An agent give Mr. Camby cash which caused the disturbance.

Basketball players upon entering the Halls of Lexington are there to play ball and that’s it. We all know that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and Mr. Calipari knows how to play the game.

Sooner or later Big Blue Nation will pay, it’s only a matter of time.
