The Boston Celtics came into this game after losing a close game to the Indiana Pacers hoping to get a big win against the rival New York Knicks. The Celtics were very close but, just couldn’t get the job done the Knicks came to win and they played like a team hungry for a playoff push. Jeff Green had a sensational 3rd quarter scoring 17 points to match the total of the Knicks in the 3rd quarter.  The Celtics just didn’t have enough in the tank especially with without Rondo. Rondo doesn’t play in back to backs as he is trying to get back into the swing of things. Carmelo had 34 points which he was able to do what he pleased. Melo attacked the paint and the perimeter and was getting to all his spots on the court.
