After Mike Shanahan, RGIII Needs, Deserves A Little Lovie . . .

Call me a “Black racist” if you so-desire . . . but I sure-as-hell hope the Washington Redskins headmaster Dan Snyder anoints one of the following men to be his new head coach; former Chi-Town Field General Lovie Smith, Stanford’s David Shaw, Cincinnati’s Hue Jackson, Cleveland’s Roy Horton, Arizona’s Todd Bowles, Baltimore’s Jim Caldwel, Romeo O’ Romeol . . . for the job – clearly all are gridiron qualified, but much, much more importantly . . . they too are  Afro-American like the Redskins franchise Signal Caller Robert Griffin III – that similarity matters and is critical to the teams success.

Herman Edwards? Denny Green is being slighted and dismissed, and its a crime!

Why hire one of these men? Well in addition to their expertise and pigskin knowledge . . . I want a head coach who hasn’t had to, dig this – begrudgingly, reluctantly “accept” what he see’s as a  “liberal notion’ that Black men can really man the NFL Quarterback position, yet we all know, truthfully, there’re quite a few who’re “on the fence . . . ” with the idea of Negro Signal Callers . . .  and that mere-thought is a slap-in-the face of Black people.  It’s what’s “wrong’ with White America.

Forgive me, but I believe it matters much  if a head coach still adheres to the NFL’s almost century-old unspoken redneck rule which attest Black men don’t have the intelligence/ emotional mantel to man the game’s most prestigious alpha-male position.

I’d argue Mike Shanahan is one of those good ol boys. And I’d suggest, not merely based on the derogatory comments he and his boy made  about Black players, particularly Donovan McNabb – his alleged laziness and lack of intelligence or the some of the remarks he’s leveled related to RGIII, and the drafting of Captain Kirk Cousins . . . coupled with these incidents I’d submit his personal friendship with former President George W. Bush and the political positions and social viewpoints both apparently share.

Yeah, I believe the same mentality is residing in Oakland,  their head coach has “opinions and observations” about ‘the Black Quarterback” which I believe men like myself, the guys down at the Barbershop, at the backyard family barbecue, at the bowling alley would find predictable, typical, contemptible, slighting and insulting.

Tampa Bay had that problem, but they fired that plantation overseer. The mindset predominates the NFL

I know, I know, I know, I just don’t believe LBJ legislated morality and brotherhood, just as I don’t believe George Halas rooming Gale Sayers with Brian Piccolo in 1965 dissolved the racial contempt and dislike which seems to permeate across the NFL.

Tragically far-too many sportsfans are both small-minded and simple minded. They can’t, or refuse to see the similarities between the sports world and the real world. Sexism, racism and classism exist in both worlds.

The Black Field General, i.e, head coach, President, Principal, CEO, Doctor or Quarterback is symbolic, and undeniably under assault at a time when White America has seen a Black man reside in the White House, not as a Butler, but as the Commander-in-Chief. These are the dark days White folks have been whispering about since the 1970’s – the colorization of the USA, of American pop-culture – make no mistake about it . . . the sky is falling.

Let Cam Newton out-gun Peyton . . then beat Kaepernick or fall to a Marvin Lewis squad . in the Big Apple, . . . not only will sportswriters eat Black crow, but so will millions of sportsfans across the country –  doctors, cops, teachers, bankers, lawyers and nurses – all of whom dislike the impact and bemoan the influence of Black people in America. Between Cam and Obama – these Real Americans see the erosion of “their country,”  its once so-called snow white Norman Rockwell way-of-life . . . the good ol days when we all knew our assigned inferior place.

A change is a’comin boys, a-change is a comin’ . . . Roll Cam Roll

As we can see, at the end of the season, It matter’s who’s entrusted to oversee the NFL career of a Black QB, what type of a man, you just can’t put it in the hands of a Neanderthal whose mind is still in yesteryear

Ok, let me toss-in the Offensive Coordinators from San Francisco Greg Owens, and Seattle’s Darrell Bevell – both certified, license holding, card carrying “Negro Whisperers” – who can communicate with Black men. Both have proven themselves to be genuine “good White men,’ and yes, there is a difference between Good White folks . . . and Bad White folks.  Now, if you’re confused . . .envision  self-proclaimed ‘Queen of the Rednecks ‘ Sarah Palin and racist Rocker Ted Nugent – as an American-of-Color, you don’t desire to work with nor for White folks who “like” these two. It’s that simple.

Perhaps there’re apart of that small minority, one-third, of White men who don’t carry Republican TEA Party IDs . . . and thus they can accept and respect Black men as legitimate “Signal Callers” and “Golden Boys.”

It matters, much what  anyones answer to this question is; Why is Doug Williams the only Super Bowl winning QB . . . Dungy and Tomlin the only head coaches ?

Anything, anything but some form of this answer “Because of racism, discrimination and the strategic, deliberate exclusion of Blacks from the position “ ought eliminate you from leading a team, particularly coaching a team predominated by Black men.

Now if you don’t agree with me, then you must be delusional and in denial of the facts, i.e., a damn fool.

But stop-the-presses; as I sit atop the Sangre De Cristos sending out these smoke signals . . . the Houston Texans have hired Penn State’s Bill O’brien, yet another Belichick disciple, and ESPN is citing how Lovie Smith was interviewed merely to satisfy the “Rooney Rule”- these shenanigans would be laughable it wasn’t so insulting. 2013 may be another NFL off-season where the NFL round-table of owners, many buddies with Rush Limbaugh  will calculate there’re no, not one (1) Afro-American man capable, able, qualified  to head-up their organizations.

Please don’t piss down my back, then try to tell me it’s raining . . . .
