Boston Celtics – 2013 NBA Draft Prospects for Pick #16
The Celtics finished this season 7th in the Eastern Conference and got bounced in the 1st round to the New York Knicks in 6 games but, the Celtics were playing without Rondo and Sullinger. A lot of people would say that 2 people don’t make a team but in the Celtics case both Sully and Rondo are very important. Sullinger is the Celtics best rebounder besides Garnett and could space the floor for that mid range jumper if need be. Rondo on the other hand is our PG and also runs the whole offense so when you take out those type of impact players then you end up in a position where the Celtics were this year. The Celtics were lost on offense and needed people to step up their roles to roles that they had never played before like Jason Terry starting and like Avery Bradley running the point guard position. The Celtics will have some huge decisions to make this offseason especially when it comes to KG and Pierce and role players Lee and Terry. So the Celtics will have to take it to the draft board and I watched every game this season and it looks as if the Celtics need help in the point guard position just incase Rondo doesn’t come back on time and also we need a point guard that can learn under Rondo and mature because, Rondo has been making strides to be the team leader that the Celtics want him to be and it would be perfect. If I could say the Celtics needed help in a 2nd position in the draft it would be in the center or small forward area.
Here are the Celtics Draft Picks ever since the Paul Pierce/Kevin Garnett/Rajon Rondo era

The only players that are currently making progress in their careers out of the Celtics drafts from the previous years are Marshon Brooks,Jared Sullinger and Avery Bradley. The rest of them had flopped or were or are in the D-League trying to bring their game up to NBA status level of play.
THIS YEAR THE CELTICS SELECT 16th OVERALL IN BELOW ARE PROSPECTS THAT WE COULD USE WITH THAT 16th PICK IN MY OPINION.
