RGIII – Good Negro, Vince Young, Bad Ni . . . .

DENVER, CO. (BASN)—You tell me, does it appear Vince Young been black-listed? Branded, Banned and Barred from the NFL?

Call me crazy or paranoid, but I’d argue there’s an deep yearning within both the league and the fan-base which wants to see VY beg . . . or tweet to get back into “their” league.

Beg, as they wanted to see Mike Vick do.

Can I get the angry White male sports fan, you know who I’m referring to – the guys who litter the message-boards of sports media websites and call into sports talk shows with racial slights, innuendos and insults – in what is an alarming percentage of the overall comments,  is it possible to get  these racist/sexist and elitist bastards to at least confess to the obvious;  a Black man applying for the position of NFL Field General is a man being pitted against all the odds, placed in harm’s way?

Vince Young is better than any Quarterback on the roster of the ice cold and wingless Arizona Cardinals. Currently, as we sit, he’s  “better,” with more down-the-road “potential,”and his  previous statistics better than many of current starting QBs’ in the league, yet as Treyvon Martin is painted as a thug, and this nation’s President is depicted as, among a list of charges – a liar and a cheat. VY is a painted n’ tainted as a big-spending dumb-ass, spoiled, pampered and childish bipolar gladiator who was never ‘suited” to play the Signal Caller role in the NFL.

And tell me if I’m wrong here, as far as most White men are concerned, there are few, if any good, decent Black men worthy of being called their peer,” their “equal. . . ,”  No? As much as I’ve opined about Robert Griffin III, he’s not the only black QB a franchise can be built around, and that includes character wise, yet the league is depicting him as the sole, lone Ebony Eagle Scout in the entire league.

Recall, we couldn’t fly airplanes nor operate heavy equipment, “doctor” on White folks, be scientist and engineers, or principals or Presidents . . . .

Now, let RGIII say something positive about president Obama, or make any comment about Black QB’s in the NFL having a rougher, tougher road to hoe . . . as both Donovan McNabb and VY have done, and like both of them – Griffin will be attacked, forever labeled as a “race card player” and he’ll see his corporate endorsements disappear and the reporters who adore him would commence the witch hunt, the lynch mob would mount up  . . . to tear-him-down as fast as they’ve built-him-up, destroy him if possible.

Think what the GOP has done to Colin Powell . . . . .

VY’s a young man who wasn’t prepared for the pro game, the glitter, the gleam, the fortunes and fame, and a head coach who didn’t appreciate his substantial skills or Debutant deposition  . . .  because of that – a heartless and hostile White male fan base and journalistic industry which harbor more jealousy, contempt, animosity and plain ol’ penis envy then they do the ability to remain impartial, unprejudiced: free from undue bias or preconceived opinions; with them the ability to offer what they claim to be pushing –  ”an unprejudiced appraisal of the pros and cons”; “such as the impartial eye of a scientist”

Thank you Mr Webster . . . .

I’m not here to defend the dumb-ass things Young did, I just find it incredible that this man can’t start in the NFL, and not only in the Valley of Fire, but in Kansas City, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Tennessee, for the Purple People Eaters or even the New York Jets  . . .

And without debate he’s better than most of the leagues 2nd string backups. When he was benched by Fisher in the 09 season VY had a 98.6 QB rating, 10 TDs to 3 INT, 5.0 on the ground . . . .

Like TO, Ocho, McNabb and others, Vince is being “put back in his place” by a good ol boy power-structure which is begrudgingly accepts Blacks in the NFL and is having an horrific time  tolerating the rise of the Afro American Signal Caller – it’s a day of reckoning they’ve long feared, and if it’s possible, they’ll slow, rebuff n’ turn-round all comers if possible.

“Good Nigger . . . Bad Nigger”  is clearly the game we’re playing now. It’s not only about not being  qualified to play QB but rather who is the White establishment accepting off, comfortable-with, willing to, yes again tolerate.

However, please note . . . we’re all Niggers.

Is Young better than most QBs, certainly second-string QBs? Not according to his most recent stats. After Tennessee released him, the Eagles gave him another shot. His QB rating with three full games under his belt? A paltry 60.8. Both Michael Vick and Nick Foles trounce that rating this year. In fact, of the 36 QBs who played enough this year to merit rating, a QBR of 60.8 is worse than every one except for Arizona’s John Skelton.

After being release by Philadelphia (justifiably, I might add), Young got yet another shot with Buffalo. His QBR during the preseason? 48.2, with no TDs and 2 INTs. No wonder why he was cut.

So, DC, go on and cherry-pick what stats you want to use as a comparison. The fact is Young had multiple shots with multiple teams and his trajectory is about as steady as a North Korean rocket.

Vince young couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, was a lazy ass, and had off the field problems. I wouldn’t sign his dumb ass either. And no, he’s not as good as Kevin Kolb.

Crazy article. Most of your thoughts appear irrational and unfounded. Vince is suffering from a bad case of the Vince’s and nothing more. Titans did not pay a ton just to bring the man down.
