Is this turning into a game called Chicken??

DENVER, CO. (BASN)—The latest from DeMaurice Smith, the NFLPA’s brain, speaking in regards to the NFL plantation owners totally minimizing, if not ignoring the players safety, their well-being being totally disregarded and placed deliberately in the hands of . . . minor league officiating: “We believe that if the National Football League fails in that obligation, we reserve the right to seek any relief that we believe is appropriate.” Even if the NFL’s player’s union recent move, this last-moment threatening of not to lace-up their cleats and strap-on their helmets if the deeply vested-in well-trained professional NFL officials aren’t governing the gridiron – is a action motivated upon self-preservation and not the proper, idealistic stimulation – worker solidarity, and even if what . . . prompts them to act isn’t a mindset built-around labor demonstrating you can’t screw one of us and expect the rest to ignore it and keep making them moolah And even if their entry into the fray is late . . . its still a step in the right direction. If the players step-up and sit-down in support of the league’s referees as the zebras do battle with the NFL roundtable of aristocrats, it will serve as a utopian example of how the workplace ought function. Workers, “the help” presenting a united front, and on the same page, even if it is multi-millionaire gladiators Until the fragmented US workforce realizes we’re all flying coach, virtually nobody has the financial ability to jet their family-of-four to Walt Disney World via First Class accommodations, we’re all apart of the 95% who are, in brutal honesty, one, two perhaps at best a months paychecks away from broke, busted, homeless, car-less. half-starving and dependent on the goodwill of others. The vast-overwhelming majority of everyday, mainstream America, regardless of race, gender, religion or political association have been pimped n’ exploited over the last 32 years, at some point, the little people, such as NFL players, who despite their current wealth, tend to hail from Blue-collar or even no-collar homes, and officials, who tend-to be teachers and firemen in their real lives, it is these different fractions of the US workforce which must realize we’ve all got the same opposition, the filthy-rich. We, the unwashed masses, we’re going to have to come to common, higher ground – where there’s a realization we’ve been sold-out by the top 5% to 10% of our society, the “investor class, ” The NFL owners could care less about honoring the rules of labor engagement, it is there preordained mission to destroy any signs of organization amongst labor. As I sit here and dip my feather on the e-ink, The NFL has moved to try to shut-down lawsuits presented by thousands of former gladiators from yesteryear, who believe they suffered or fear suffering permanent brain injuries from gridiron-related concussions, calling the issue a “labor dispute” that should be resolved not by courts but by terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Yes, there’s no question about it – accumulating cash is the primary objective, so- much-so the NFL owners are trying to minimize their obvious role and resulting liability and accountability which comes with running a circus. Big Pimpin’ baby, and pimpin’ ain’t easy, and big pimpin’ like this, at this level and degree . . . is a mofo, ask Mitt Romney. And no, there’s no question as elitist owners, who see themselves as big men, like Gulliver, don’t want to be tied-down to the little laws-of-the-land which govern we, the Lilliputians Wall St, big business, corporate America, the NFL cartel, call these entities what-you-will, but it only takes an high school education to grasp the complexities of this simple story – the fat-cats, in an effort to ensure never-ending/always increasing profits for themselves have, in cold Vulcan-like manner betrayed and abandoned the US worker, and his family, community, town and country, Call it laissez-faire capitalism Capitalism, Adam Smith and Ayn Rand’s rules at-play, buyer-beware. Watch your back, keep your eye on the door n’ your hand on the trigger Capitalism. Unbridled n’ unchecked, allowing the few to knowingly-sabotaged the financial system which made the ever-elusive American Dream a little less elusive for many. Might not this be the time to admit the obvious; this, the hi n’ mighty top-tier of US society long-ago started to disinvest in America, both the infrastructure and the irrelevant people who populate the land. And if you think about it, one does not have to go back to the “Revolutionary War” or the “War of 1812″ to see the business sector of this nation undermine wethepeople, in favor of personal profit. the elites of this nation were always willing to do business anywhere, with anybody – Nazi Germany in WWII and South Africa during the entirety of the Apartheid era, hell today with China and the Arab world . . . . America’s rich, a country club predominated and dominated by White males decades-ago decided their companies and corporations flew no flag, nor harbored any real allegiance to the US Flag or the American worker. . . . White Flight happens not merely on a local or state level but it’s played out on a global level also. And that betrayal and abandonment seem to coincide with workers becoming organized and the US population being racially integrated and thus more leveled. Note; once the field started to become more level, it’s indisputable Corporate America was willing to export business operations overseas, and therefore willing to destroy cities and with them their micro-economies they deemed expendable. Their commitment to what was becoming a more organized and diverse America began the disappearing act we’re eyeballing today where the means to obtain and maintain a middle class lifestyle was a possibility via the loans to veterans to buy homes and obtain a higher education, the expand FDR and LBJ’s social safety-net which ensured old and afflicted citizens wouldn’t perish on the streets was put into place . . . a And along with this commitment to the average Fred n’ Wilma, the “haves,” and the “have mores” and the “have every damn thing there is slice of the American apple Pie this small segment of the US population’s American patriotism seemed to disappear And today they are hoping to dismantle FDR’s New Deal, LBJ’s Great Society and end MLK’s dream. Return this country to it’s heydays when everybody understood and accepted the position in a caste based society wealthy White males prescribed for them. Ronald “666″ Ray-Gun, his 2 terms were designed to slow the progress America;s 2nd tier of misfits and oddballs – everyone who wasn’t White and male, with the more cash you have the more manly and white you are . . . and I would submit . . . the Reagan Revolution was successful; the rich are richer, the poor are poorer and this country’s ruling class has succeeded in stagnating the weighable, tangible progress by practicing, hell perfecting the art of divide n’ conquer. Unfortunately this mindset and approach . . . it’s applied to all aspects of life, even in a dispute between Robber Barons, Gladiators and Zebras.
