PIKESVILLE, Md. — Black College Baseball and DWCommunications, LLC have agreed to a one year partnership for the 2011 baseball season.

DWC will produce the weekly 2011 BCB Radio Show that will be podcasted every Wednesday. The 30-minute podcasts will include discussion on the BCB Polls, interviews from coaches, scouts, players, alumni, high school prospects, community organizations, and various features that will become a staple of the show. Donal Ware, who also hosts the nationally syndicated FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW and does play-by-play for Classic Sports Radio Network, has been tabbed as the host. Ware has 13 years of radio experience.

“I was originally inspired in bringing this to fruition after seeing Eric Sorenson’s Baldcast last year,” says BCB owner Ruffin Bell.

“Sorenson’s work got me talking to Donal. DWCommunications and Donal are the perfect match for Black College Baseball to launch into the radio world,” says Bell.

“The reach of DWCommunications in the HBCU Sports world, and the continued effort of BCB to strengthen its role as leader in disseminating black college baseball information in creative mediums is inline with the goals of BCB.”

“I am pleased that Mr.

Bell has tabbed DWCommunications, LLC to work with BCB on this outstanding project,” said Ware. “We look forward to assisting BCB and giving the public the best in Black College Baseball.

Started in 2002, BCB is dedicated to the promotion of black college baseball teams, the academic institutions and collegiate baseball.
