NORTH CAROLINA (BASN) — The first month of college football is officially over.

The Longhorns are long gone. Boise State buckled down.Denard “Shoelace” Robinson got tripped up. Steven Garcia got benched. Arkansas threw away a win. And the Wolfpack howled even louder.

And the Pac-10 tried to compete with the SEC. With all that said, check out the new improved Eric Graham Stiff-Arm Top 20 College Football Poll to see where your favorite team ended up this week.

1. Alabama (4-0)

The Crimson Tide are still No.1 after sneaking by the Arkansas Razorbacks last week 24-20. This week they take on the University of Florida.

2. Ohio State (4-0)

3. Nebraska (4-0)

4. Oklahoma (4-0)

//<![CDATA[ //]]> Bob Stoops is 121-29 as Oklahoma’s head coach in 12 seasons. This week the Sooners take on Mack Brown’s Texas Longhorns in the Red-River Rivalry. The Longhorns, however, have won 4 out of the last five games against the Sooners.

//<![CDATA[ //]]> 10. Michigan (4-0)

Denard “Shoelace” Robinson twisted his knee in a 65-21 blow-out against Bowling Green last week. But this Heisman hopeful should be back in his unlaced cleats this week against the Indiana Hoosiers.

11. Arizona (4-0)

12. Boise State (3-0)

The magic Blue Carpet is still magical. The Broncos are 72-2 on the Smurf turf. Their 37-24 win against Oregon St. last Saturday have them in the BCS conversation once again.

13. TCU (3-0)

14. USC (4-0)

15. Utah (3-0)

16. N.C.State (4-0)

Everybody thought I was crazy last week when I placed the Wolfpack in my Top 20, but after whipping the Georgia Tech Yelllow Jackets 45-28. People are wearing red again in North Carolina instead of “baby blue.” Sorry Tar Heel fans. Handle your scandal. This week the wolves take on the Hokies of Virginia Tech.
