NORTH CAROLINA (BASN) — Week 5 was an exciting one!!

The Buckeyes survived. The Crimson Tide rolled on. LSU lucked up. Tennessee Volunteered too many and the Wolf pack were picked apart.

Find out if your favorite team is still in the Top 20 new and improved Eric Graham Stiff-Arm College Football Poll. Remember the rules, if you win, you are in. And there are no exceptions to the rules.

1. Alabama (5-0)

Alabama is really good. This week the Crimson Tide roll over Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks.

2. Ohio State (5-0)

Jim Tressel seeks his 100th win as Ohio State University’s head coach this week against the 4-1 Indiana Hoosiers.

3. Nebraska (4-0)

It’s the Clash of the Big 12 undefeated!! Nebraska (4-0) vs. Kansas St.

(4-0) live on Thursday Night Football on ESPN. Starting time 7:30 Eastern time.

4. Oklahoma (4-0)

5. Oregon (5-0)

Who needs quarterback Jeremiah Massoli, now at Ole Miss, when you have sophomore QB Darron Thomas, who passed for 238 yards and rushed for 117 more in a 52-31 win over Stanford last week?

6. LSU (5-0)

LSU defeated Tennessee 14-10 after the Vols. were penalized for having 13 men on the field. This week the Tigers take on the Gators of Florida.

7. Auburn (5-0)

The Tigers lead the SEC in rushing offense with 269 yards per game. This week, they take on the Wildcats of Kentucky.

8. Michigan (5-0)

Denard “Shoelace” Robinson continue to amaze us. This week Mr. Robinson and the Wolverines go head-to-head against the 5-0 Spartans of Michigan St.

9. Arizona (4-0)

10. Boise State (4-0)

Last week, the Broncos defeated the New Mexico St. Aggies 59-0. Their cream puff schedule continues this week against Toledo.

11. TCU (4-0)

12. Michigan St. (5-0)

The Spartans are second in FBS in total offense with 560 yards per game.

This week they try to stop the Denard “Shoelace” Robinson and the 5-0 Michigan Wolverines.

13. Oklahoma St. (5-0)

14. Utah (3-0)

Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham, who replaced Urban Myers, now at the University of Florida, is 10-4 against BCS opponents and 6-0 in Bowl competition.

15. Missouri (4-0)

16. Kansas St. (4-0)

Kansas St. is second in Big 12 in rushing offense with 216 yards per game.

17. Nevada (5-0)

18. Northwestern (5-0)

Don’t be mad, Northwestern is undefeated. They deserve to be in the Top 20.

19. Florida (4-1)

After getting crushed by Alabama last week 31-6, the Gators try to get their swagger back against the Bayou Bengals of LSU. The Gators have won three out of the last meetings with the Tigers.

20. Iowa (4-1)

Honorable Mention: Wisconsin (4-1), Stanford (4-1), USC (4-1), Florida St. (4-1), N.C. State (4-1) Arkansas (3-1), West Virginia (3-1), Miami (3-1), South Carolina (3-1)

Note: This poll will dramatically change after next week’s games. So don’t be surprised if your favorite team gets stiff-armed out of the top 20. In other words, keep your chin-strap on.
