CONNECTICUT (BASN) — Here are my top five contenders for this year’s Heisman Trophy after last weekend’s games.

1. Michigan QB Denard Robinson: He’s perfect for the Michigan offense because he can score with the run or the pass. The leader right now.
2. Stanford QB Andrew Luck: A surprise team and an excellent quarterback.
3. Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor: The Buckeyes can win it all and he will be the reason.
4. Alabama RB Mark Ingram: The Tide’s star is in the hunt, but it’s tough to repeat and there have been those injuries.
5. Rutgers WR Mohammed Sanu: He’s the best athlete in the sophomore class and may mean more for the Scarlet Knights than almost any player in the country does for his team.
