(BASN) — There is something evil about seeing Brett Favre wearing that purple Minnesota Viking jersey instead of the green and yellow Green Bay Packer uniform.
It’s equivalent to seeing Georgetown’s John Thompson sporting one of Lou Carnesecca’s hideous lucky sweaters while coaching at the Big East Tournament in early 80′s.
Or seeing North Carolina Coach Dean Smith wearing a Duke Blue Devil sweatshirt at the Crabtree Mall in Raleigh. Or seeing Larry Bird wearing an L.A. Laker jersey.
It’s simply pure evil and a sin against the sport. As a result, today in the “Endzone,” we take a disturbing look at other players who should have never put on another team’s jersey.
10. Allen Iverson, Memphis Grizzlies (2009)
This is pure evil and God don’t like ugly.
9. Shaquille O’Neal, Cleveland Cavaliers (2009)
This is a sin even if the Cavaliers win.
8. Patrick Ewing, Seattle SuperSonics (2000)
Patrick wearing anything but a Knick jersey is a crime against humanity.
7. Karl Malone, Los Angeles Lakers (2003)
It’s bad enough that the “Mailman” wore No. 11 instead of his customary No. 32 while in L.A., but it’s simply wrong for him not to have ended his career with his Utah Jazz running buddy, John Stockton. Pick and roll, baby.
6. Darryl Strawberry, Los Angeles Dodgers (1991)
Somebody must have been taking drugs. (Oops!!) Please, forgive me for saying that. That was Bobbee Bee “The Hater” speaking.
5. Roger Clemens, New York Yankees (1999)
Rocket, you can’t do that!! That’s against the 10 Commandments!!!
4. Joe Montana, Kansas City Chiefs (1993)
The Kansas City Chiefs will be cursed for this one!!!
3. Bob Knight, Texas Tech (2001)
This makes you want to throw a chair across the basketball court and curse until you turn red in the face!!!
2. Emmitt Smith, Arizona Cardinals (2003)
This is EVIL!!! Emmitt Smith is forever a Dallas Cowboy!!!
1. Michael Jordan, Washington Wizards (2001)
M.J., were you crazy??? I don’t want to be like Mike!! He almost destroyed his legacy with this stupid decision.
