NORTH CAROLINA (BASN) — Comedian Rodney Dangerfield made a career adjusting his tie and proclaiming “I get no respect, I tell ya!

So this week “In the Endzone”, we honor yje late comedian by listing the top 10 players and or teams, who get no respect from fans, sportswriters, and the league itself.

10.

Fred Taylor: “At 20, a man is full of fight and hope. He wants to reform the world. When he’s 70, he still wants to reform the world, but he knows he can’t.”

Taylor has played in 144 games in 12 years in the NFL while carrying the football 2473 times for 11,472 yards plus 64 touchdowns. But yet, he still gets no respect.
9.

Boise State: “I once met the surgeon general. He offered me a cigarette.”

The Broncos are undefeated at (6-0) but if they don’t win with style they will not play for the National Championship.
8.

Ricky Williams: “I tell ya when I was a kid, all I knew was rejection. My yo-yo, it never came back.”

After being reinstated by Commissioner Goodell for violating of the NFL substance abuse policy four times, Williams, a two-time All-American and Heisman Trophy winner, is clean cut and drug-free. Plus, he has rushed the ball 221 times for 976 yards in two years for the Miami Dolphins. This season, Williams and teammate Rodney Brown both could run for 1,000 yards. But yet, he gets no respect.
7.

Michael Vick: “I came from a real tough neighborhood. On my street, the kids take hubcaps — from moving cars.”

Vick once was the face of the NFL. He was the spokesperson for many companies including EA Sports, Coco-Cola, Powerade, and Kraft. But now, he is treated like a second string high school quarterback, who flips burgers at McDonalds
6.

Vince Young: “Last week I told my psychiatrist, ‘I keep thinking about suicide.’ He told me from now on I have to pay in advance.

In 2005, he won the BCS National Championship. In 2006, he was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and a spot on the AFC Pro Bowl Team. In 2009 after being replaced by Kerry Collins, the Titans are (0-5) and he’s still sitting on the bench.
5.

Allen Iverson: “Boy, what a hotel that was. They stole my towel!!!”

After playing 11 years with the Philadelphia 76ers, A.I., a 10-time NBA All-Star, has played two years for the Denver Nuggets and one season for the Detroit Pistons. Now, he is playing for the Memphis Grizzlies.
4.

Jose Canseco: “I told my wife the truth. I told her I was seeing a psychiatrist. Then she told me the truth — that she was seeing a psychiatrist, two plumbers, and a bartender.”

Jose said that Major Baseball Players had a steroid problem. Everybody said he was crazy. But later we find out, Roger Clements, Mark McQuire, Jason Giambi, Rafael Palmeiro, Sammy Sosa, David Oritz, A-Rod, and Barry Bonds all used steroids. And the list goes on and on and on. There have been 25 suspension in Major League Baseball for steroid usage.
So Jose told the truth after all but yet he gets no respect.
3.

Terrell Owens: I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous, everyone hasn’t met me yet.”

The last time the notorious T.O finished an NFL game without a catch was Week Seven of his rookie year in 1996. He, in fact, had 185 straight games with a reception until the Buffalo Bill lost to the New Orleans Saints. But yet, he still gets no respect
2.

Donovan McNabb: “I went to see my doctor. ‘Doctor, every morning when I get up and look in the mirror’… I feel like throwing up. What’s wrong with me?’ He said, ‘I don’t know but your eyesight is perfect.”

In his tenure with the Eagles, McNabb has won four straight NFC East crowns (2001-2004). He has also gotten to five NFC Championships and one Super Bowl. McNabb, unbelievably has thrown for 30,000 total passing yards, 3109 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns. He even has the most wins, passing yards, completion and touchdowns than any other Eagle. But yet, he gets no respect
1.

President Barack Hussein Obama: “I get no respect. The way my luck is running, if I was a politician, I would be honest.”

He is the President of the United States, but he has been called everything but a “child of God. He has been called the Anti-Christ by religious nuts, a communist by Rush Limbaugh, a socialist by Sean Hannity, a racist by Glenn Beck, a liar by Representative Joe Wilson of South Carolina, a non-American by Lou Dobbs of CNN and he has only been in office for nine months.
