CONNECTICUT (BASN) — Here are my top five contenders for this year’s Heisman Trophy after last weekend’s games.

QB Tim Tebow, Florida: He is still the best at his position and the question is can he win it a second time.

RB Ryan Matthews, Fresno State: The star of this high octane offense.

RB Mark Ingram, Alabama: Bama is back and is led by the sophomore tailback. They can win the National Championship.

RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson: Very elusive for an enigmatic team.

RB Dion Lewis, Pittsburgh: This freshman may be the best at his position in the country for a team now in the hunt for a major bowl.
