SEATTLE — Anyone that knows be will tell you that my since of direction isn’t very good as a matter of fact some may even say that I couldn’t find my way out of a brown paper bag.

The sad part about it is that they are right. This would partially explain my love for public transportation. I always try to give myself plenty of lead way when charting out new territory with the hopes of not just arriving on time but arriving period.

The TomTom GO 930 was made with me in mind and it’s all set up and ready to go the moment you take it out of the box. It comes with a windshield mount, remote control, car charger, desk dock for charging and computer connection.

The 4.3″ WQVGA touch screen is easy to read in day or night conditions and the placement of this device doesn’t interfere with your driving.

The spoken street names and instructions are clear and the maps are always up to date but if a new map is released within 30 days of your purchase you can download it for free at TomTom Home.

What I like most about the TomTom Go 930 is that you can customize it to fit your own personal needs. For example, you can put in your own points of interest, find the cheapest gas and in my case the “Help Me” button will give me easy access to local emergency hospitals, police and fire stations.

Now I know what a lot of you are saying, “I don’t need one of those things, and I know how to get around my own city.” Trust me, you only think that you do.

The TomTom Go 930 will give you several different ways to get home from work, faster or slower. You will learn more shortcuts that you never knew existed.

TomTom has a series of personal navigators, check them out at www.tomtom.comto see which one best fits your lifestyle.
