Shame On Syracuse NCAA 2008 Lacrosse Champions
ON SYRACUSE NCAA 2008 LACROSSE CHAMPIONS VERY LONG AGO AND FAR AWAY
More than likely this is
the first you are hearing
Syracuse won the 2008 NCAA
Lacrosse Championship Monday
because Lacrosse gets very little
attention in the Media and besides
what are the chances you are
a College Lacrosse Fan ??

Too Bad. Or is it. You’ll know better after today’s Black Box. Here you learn something every day. Even better you become Wise a WiseMan or WiseWoman based completely on self-identification. We don’t care here. Call yourself what you LIKE !
Anyway after another ‘patented’ ( that’s right don’t do it without our permission ) Box mini-diversion from our subject of the day let’s get back to Lacrosse. Starting with an Open Internet Test yes you can check on the Internet if you must.
WHO IS CONSIDERED THE GREATESTLACROSSE PLAYER OF ALL TIME
WHERE DID JIM BROWN PLAY LACROSSE
University of Syracuse
If you answered both Questions correctly you can continue reading. If you did not you had better continue reading ! Jim Brown’s unequaled Lacrosse ability is the very significant sub-text for today’s Box.
Coming back to present day Syracuse University – contrary to what we said above – in fact you may have already heard about Syracuse’s 2008 Championship victory over Lacrosse Powerhouse John Hopkins University Monday because it is getting so much attention it was so improbable. Right now as the Box is being written Monday evening as usual from a Secret Location, The New York Times’ Website is featuring the Syracuse NCAA Championship victory on its Front Page as the focal photo.
We’ll we’re NOT jumping on the
Syracuse Lacrosse Bandwagon
as you see from our
Everyone else including The Times is HAILING Syracuse for what they call its “transformation” after last year having a dismal season to defy he Odds this season and beat John Hopkins for the Championship in Foxborough, Mass. 13-10.
Here is what we find far more interesting
The University of Syracuse where Jim Brown is the Legend of Legends in Sports and again including the GREATEST Lacrosse player of all time, today in 2008 Syracuse has 48 that’s FORTY-EIGHT varsity Lacrosse players on its Championship Men’s Team. ONE OF THEM IS AFRICAN AMERICAN. Occasional Midfielder Jovan Miller.
That point reflects the REALITY at Syracuse. Within all of NCAA Lacrosse. And ALL of NCAA Sports, men’s and women’s outside of football and basketball. The RACISM of Benign Neglect. Otherwise known as WE DON’T CARE Racism.
Lacrosse which combines many of the skills needed to play both football and basketball should be a natural college Sport for African Americans. Except NOBODY CARES. There is NO money to speak of in Lacrosse. So the few colleges that play championship level Lacrosse are more than happy to keep it virtually All White.
YES as always Irony in alive and well everywhere definitely within the NCAA. Watch what would happen if “magically” Lacrosse became as popular i.e. as big a PROFIT source for colleges as football and basketball.
Colleges would go searching for every edge they could get and before long it would start dawning on athletic directors and coaches YES Lacrosse is a natural for African American athletes. Let’s go find or if necessary go develop ourselves some outstanding BLACK Lacrosse players. So we an WIN in Lacrosse and make $$$$$$.
But since there is NO real $$$$
in Lacrosse it will remain
Lilly White and a Sport for
White Students to bond and
put on their resumes to get
hired by alumni who played
All White Lacrosse before
them in College the Scam
goes on and on and on
the rest of
