Before the 2008 Cubs took the Field against the Milwaukee Brewers to lose in Extra Innings after a dramatic 9th inning come back before the Faithful packing Wrigley on a raw early spring day in this Windy City. In a State known for its Past and Future President of the United States. But Monday it was about Legendary Ernie Banks.

From now hopefully until eternity everyone arriving for a Cubs home game will always see the towering bronze statue of Hall of Famer Ernie Banks standing just outside of Wrigley Field. And good to see Banks honored this way while he is still here to enjoy it instead of after the fact when he is long gone from this Earth gone to the Here After.
