NUMBER ONE

VINCE YOUNG

BLACK QUARTERBACKS SHINE IN BOWLS

ALL HAIL VINCE YOUNG

Shout it

from the Mountain Tops

It was the Game of Games

Texas is #1 because

Vince Young is #1

A performance for the Ages.

Eat your heart out Matt Leinart. You are not even 2nd best. There are a whole group of talented African American Quarterbacks ahead of you.

Is there any doubt

who should be Drafted First

VINCE YOUNG

and right behind him

yes of course

REGGIE BUSH

But the Story of the Day is not Running Backs. Talented African Americans have dominated there for Decades. And while more and more of the Quarterbacks in the NFL are Black. Wednesday night’s Rose Bowl. The 2005 Championship Game was Special. A Landmark. A Turning Point.

Vince Young’s MVP Performance

and his Spectacular Talents

converged

at the right Time & Place

To Herald the End of White dominance at Quarterback in Football.. He is the Leader of the Pack of 7 of the 10 Top Rated NCAA colleges for the 2005 season that all featured African American Starting Quarterbacks.

And all of them did well in their Bowl Games.

Like

Ohio States Troy Smith out performing

Notre Dames’ Brady Quinn

Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn the Toast of the White Quarterback Club who met their Better Vince Young and Troy Smith of the Black Quarterback Club.

We may be facing another

Historic First

in the 2006 NFL Draft

The Most African American

Quarterbacks ever Drafted

Maybe even

More Black QBs than

White QBs

If it does not happen this Draft it will happen Soon. Quarterback is the only remaining position ( excepting kickers and punters of course ) in the Draft in which more White Players than African American Players are Drafted.

There is no Logic to it

As we have written repeatedly in the Box it is nothing more than a ‘covert’ often overt form of Discrimination since the beginning of Football that has discouraged young African Americans pursuing the ultimate football dream that ALL the young whites always have been encouraged to Be the Quarterback.

Well the Bullshit

isn’t going to work Anymore

While Vince Young’s Performance which will live on as Legendary for as long as college football is played – wasn’t absolutely necessary to this Tend his biggest impact my well be on young African Americans in their early teens and even pre-teens AND their parents watching that Championship Game …..

who watched that Game End

with no doubt whatsoever

an African American is

The Greatest Quarterback in America

AND SO CAN THEY BE !

OHIO STATE’S TROY SMITH
