Yes Candace Parker was the Star the Most Valuable Player with her central role and her 17 points. But she was not alone. Her Sisters were there every step of the way romping over Rutgers for Tennessee’s 7th National Championship.

There were those 4 BIG 3 pointers from Guard Shannon Bobbitt. 16 count them SIXTEEN rebounds from Forward Nicky Anosike. As another standout Alexis Hornbuckle noted ” Nicky owned the Boards.”

Plus lots of scoring and that all important Steal by Alberta Auguste.
