Let It Snow Let It Snow…In Seatle For Shaun Alexander and the Seahawks

Updated: December 1, 2006

Some people in Seattle

are very very upset

about the recent Snow

( hopefully more to come )

not star running back

Shaun Alexander who

frolicked in the Snow

Monday night at Quest Field

It has not been a very good season for Alexander last year’s NFL MVP sidelined with injuries. But he sure made up for it in the SnowStorm let’s call it a ( modest ) Blizzard in Seattle. Shaun prancing in the White Stuff for 201 yards which came from a career high 40 carries on his way to leading the Seahawks to a much needed victory as they desperately try to claw their way back to the the next SuperBowl having been robbed by the Officials last February.

Let’s put Monday night’s game

in Glorious perspective

It was the first time EVER it Snowed during a Seattle Seahawks home game. Look at the difference the COLD and the SNOW made. The Seahawks are now 7-4 and Confident after Monday night in the SNOW. The week before in the HEAT and sun of San Francisco Seattle was humiliated losing 20-14.

Looking at the rest of the Seahawks 2006 schedule ….

The good news is they have 2 more home games which means it might SNOW but 3 games away only one with the possibility of SNOW in Denver coming up on Sunday. Except prospects for SNOW Sunday in Denver are practically non-existent. Then again who expected SNOW in Seattle.

Best of all for the Seahawks

and Shaun Alexander

most of all

Seattle is in first place in the NFC West and virtually sure to win that Division which could possibly provide them home field advantage through the Play-offs which means the possibility of SNOW for those games. Which could prove a BIG advantage for Shaun Alexander which means the Seahawks.

We have a theory here in the Box

which makes it even Better

Global Warming could produce a sudden and dramatic shift in the Gulf Stream that could alter weather patterns for thousands of years. And wet Seattle which normally experiences lots of rain may instead have much of it turn to SNOW turning the Emerald City into the Frosty City.

That will bring joy not only to Shaun Alexander but his teammates as well most expressed child like delight about having played their game in the SNOW Monday night. The fact is SNOW and football are a mesmerizing combination. Viewership data and other studies conclusively prove football fans even non-fans are more likely to watch a game in the SNOW. And fans seem to most remember those games from the past that took place in the SNOW.

So in honor of

Shaun Alexander and

the Seahawks success

in the SNOW we will

leave you with the Lyrics of

the most famous SNOW song

of All time to enjoy ….

Oh the weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful

And since we’ve no place to go

( except Quest Field )

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping

And I’ve bought some corn for popping

( watching the Seahawks Win )

The lights are turned way down low

( Go Seahawks Go )

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss good night

( after the Seahawks Win )

How I’ll hate going out in the storm!

( not really Go Seahawks Go )

But if you’ll really hold me tight

( at Quest Field )

All the way home I’ll be warm

( singing Go Seahawks Go )

The fire is slowly dying

And, my dear, we’re still goodbying

But as long as you love me so

( and Shaun keeps on frolicking in the stuff )

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

in Seattle and Everywhere

Football & Snow

Perfect Together
