come on in …..

Darren McFadden

Do you like to bet on sure things. We’ll here’s one you can’t lost. Darren McFadden will not win the 2006 Heisman Trophy. In fact you can even bet a sure thing on where he will place in the voting. #3. But if you are looking for him this weekend head to the Heisman. McFadden is joining soon to be Heisman Try Smith and of course Brady Quinn from Notre Dame as guests of the Heisman Trust. More to the point the sponsors footing the bill. Quinn is here because they would never invite 3 BLACK players as the only Heisman Finalists.

Darren McFadden is here because he deserves to be on the same stage with Troy Smith. Arkansas tailback Darren McFadden only a Sophomore is the best running back in the nation. And may well be next year’s Heisman winner. Consider this trip practice. McFadden has just won the 2006 Doak Walker Award presented Thursday in Orlando to the best college running back in the nation. From there he took a plane to New York City.

This just completed regular season McFadden ran for an Arkansas record 1558 yards and 14 Touchdowns. He also has an arm to be reckoned with throwing 3 Touchdowns. He topped it all off with a kick off return of 92 yards and yes another Touchdown. Is there any doubt Darren McFadden will be a formidable candidate for the Heisman next year. There is none. Guess who won the 2005 Doak Award. Last year’s Heisman winner Reggie Bush.

But right now for

the next two days it’s

party time in New York City

for Tailback Darren McFadden

while he plays a supporting role for

Heisman to soon be Troy Smith

and if you want to place that safe bet

bet on McFadden to come in 3rd

in this year’s vote NOT next

all bets are off for next year’s

Heisman Trophy
